Thank you Scott Hettrick for turning all of us Leave it to Beaver fans onto this 1966 episode of The Dating Game which features our favorite Leave it to Beaver actor, Jerry Mathers. Anyone who is a real fan of the show loves these media nuggets that are uncovered from time to time. I recently discovered an episode of The Dating Game which features Chester Anderson (Buddy Joe Hooker) and just like Jerry Mathers, Buddy Joe Hooker was also “Bachelor #2.”
The cool thing about this episode shared here is that all of its bachelors are child actors. Eddie Hodges (Adventures of Huckleberry Finn) and Barry Gordon who played Chopper on the LITB episode, “Beaver’s House Guest” were also featured.
